LESLEY
I have been a resident in a Nursing Home in Lisburn for 10 years and am confined to a wheelchair.
A few years ago I heard about D.C.F. and started to go to the monthly meetings.
I was asked if I would like to go to the Holiday Home with the Lisburn Branch, and have been going on their branch holidays every year since.
I heard at the meetings that I needed to be saved, and until then I was depending on my own good works to get me to heaven.
While at the Holiday Home this year I bought a new Bible and now read it every day and through His Word I learned I needed to confess my sins and trust the Lord to cleanse me with His precious blood.
I thank God for leading me to D.C.F. and for the wonderful holidays spent in Newcastle and I am now looking forward to the monthly meetings starting again in September and more opportunities to hear God's Word preached and to praise Him.
