Bobby Potts.

Q. Bobby, have you always lived here in Moybrick Road, Dromara?
A. I have always lived in this area but in the townland of Gransha.

Q. Could you tell me a little bit about your home life?
A. I lived with my parents along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
My parents kept pigs, hens, ducks and turkeys, and they also grew all their own vegetables.

Q. Did'you attend Sunday School and Church as a young boy?
A. Yes. I was brought up in a God-fearing family who had great respect for the 'Sabbath'.
We attended Kilkinamurry Presbyterian Church where the Gospel was always faithfully preached.
I always knew I needed to be saved though like so many did nothing about it for years.

Q. Bobby, you have been going to stay at the Holiday Home now for about 9 years.
How did you come to hear of the Home?
A. Through my niece.
I usually go twice a year and last year I also was there with the Saintfield Branch on their '5' day break in March.
It was while at the Home in May 2004 that I came to the Lord through the ministry of Pastor Harvey Shaw.
I have made many friends while on holiday at the Home.

Q. Bobby, I believe you love painting.
A. Yes, I specially love doing scenery and it is a joy to me to know that one of my paintings is hanging up in the Home.
I am thankful for the instruction I receive at Skeagh House and Banbridge Tech.
I have shown some of my paintings at exhibitions.

Q. How long have you been a member of Saintfield D.C.F.I. ?
A. Since October, 2003.
I really look forward to attending the meetings, seeing the new friends I've made and enjoying the fellowship around the Word and a cup of tea.
It's not easy living alone, though I do have Carers coming in.
We need the Fellowship to help us grow as Christians.

Q. Bobby, in closing do you have a favourite portion of Scripture.
A. Yes, Psalm 23.
