Profile of Banbridge Branch

After much prayer and guidance from the Lord, the Branch commenced on the first Saturday of September 1982, with 30 present. There are now approximately 80 attending.

There is a dedicated band of 18 helpers; most of them have been involved since the start. A Prayer Meeting, with the faithful few, is held on the Wednesday prior to the rally.

Many have come to know the Lord as Saviour both through the rallies and on holiday. We have faithful speakers and singers who always bring a clear message of the Gospel. Our Outing is usually round the coast and this year we went to Kilkeel Presbyterian Church Hall for a delicious three-course dinner.

Our holidays have always been at the Stricklands Complex, Bangor. In October last we had a Praise Service to mark our 20 years in D.C.F. Representatives from local branches were present.

We had a great time of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for all His help. Dean Hutchinson, our special speaker, brought a message of Encouragement and Challenge.

We thank God that transport was provided without much difficulty. There are 3 buses and some helpers use their private cars.

OUR PRAYER POINTS:

.That a younger couple would join us to shoulder the burden and take charge. .That some who have attended faithfully for years would soon trust the Lord as Saviour. .That Banbridge Branch would make more use of the Holiday Home.

OUR PRAISE POINTS:

New helpers joined us this year Good health amongst the helpers Favourable weather for nearly all rallies Good working relationships amongst all helpers.
