Focus on the

Ballymena Branch of DCFI.

In 1976 I received a letter from a lady in Scotland, who had been given a tract which I had written on our son Geoffrey's testimony.
She had been led to write to me, enclosing a copy of “THE VITAL LINK” (DCF magazine).

As I read through that little magazine the Lord spoke to me, and I was compelled to write to Mr Evans whose name was given as a contact.
I soon realised there was a need for a branch in the Ballymena area and GOD HAD PROVIDED THE RIGHT SITUATION.

After months of correspondence with Mr Evans and Margaret Russell (nee Cunningham) and much prayer, we had our first rally on Saturday, 6 May 1978 with Andrew Moore as Chairman.
We meet on the first Saturday of the month, in Harryville Presbyterian Church Hall, very kindly granted.

Homefirst have always provided us with three buses and an extra one on our annual outing.
The Lord has blessed us over the years, to Him we give all the glory.
We have seen souls saved for the great eternity.

We have a good attendance at each rally where the gospel is faithfully preached.

We also have a very hard-working band of dedicated helpers, faithful witnesses of the gospel in word and in song, and those who faithfully attend the rallies.

At the Holiday Home this year we had the added joy of seeing one of our younger members trusting Christ as his Saviour.

We covet God's blessing and the continued prayers of God's people as we move towards our 25th Anniversary.
