Ballyclare Branch.

Ballyclare Branch.

The Opening Meeting of the Ballyclare Branch of the Disabled Christians' Fellowship was held on Saturday, 7th September 1985, in the Christian Workers Union Hall, Ballyclare.

The rallies continued there until September 1994 when due to increasing numbers it relocated to the Evangelical Presbyterian. Church Hall.

The monthly rally is held on the first Saturday of each month, and our Outing is always in june.
On average 60 people with disabilities attend the monthly meeting, and we are in the happy position of having 24 helpers.
In common with most branches we would like to have more young helpers.
While the majority of members are brought to the monthly rally by helpers, Homefirst Trust give us the use of a wheelchair coach.
At the rally we have a 'shop' which is popular with members and it is a useful source of income.
Every year some of our members join with Foyle Branch for a holiday in the D.C.F.I. Holiday Home, in Newcastle, and from all reports they have a really enjoyable time.

We can say with the Psalmist (Ps 117:2): "For great is His love towards us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever".
